I’m an 18-year-old girl who just graduated from high school. You may ask yourself who “I” is. Well my name is Henrike Merkel but most people call me Henny. I come from Germany, near Cologne to be precise.

Now not having to go to school anymore, I decided it’s time to experience something new and exciting. I did some research online and after several applications and struggles, I finally found a great place I wanted work at. Sadly not only every ending is a new beginning, but also every new beginning comes with an ending. Even though this means that I will have to leave my family and my friends behind I am very exited and can not wait to get on the bus which will bring me to the south coast of England for the next year.

I don’t know where this journey will bring me yet, but I’m sure that it will be a wonderful experience which I’d like to share with you.
